NFSUN 2024

Scientific proposals and workshops

NFSUN invite scientific proposals as paper presentation, interactive poster presentation and symposia. Proposals should be between 1000 and 1500 words (maximum 1500) + an abstract (in English) of 150-200 words. Each scientific proposal will be peer-reviewed by two referees. Accepted scientific proposals will be published in an online conference proceedings after the conference.
Research studies in contributions may be empirical or theoretical. Contributions about development work are also welcome, but must contain systematic investigations and a theoretical framework.
A symposium consists of 3 related contributions + an introduction, submitted together as one proposal of maximum 1500 words + abstract. A symposium will be assigned a full paper session at the conference, and the symposium organisers should also invite a discussant.

Each session will be 1 hour or 1,5 hour long, depending on the number of papers in the session. Each paper will have 15 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for the discussions, total of 25 minutes for each paper (max). For symposiums, each session will thus be one and a half hour long.
Those who want to propose a workshop can either ask for 1 hour or 1,5 hours. Please indicate that clearly in the proposal.

The NFSUN conference also welcome interactive workshops organised by participants. Workshops contributions will not be peer-reviewed but considered by the organisers. Suggestions should be sent not later than January 4th 2024 using same submission system as the proposals.

Proposals may be submitted in English, Danish, Swedish or Norwegian and must be presented at the conference in the same language as in the proposal. The abstract must be in English for all contributions, regardless of language in the proposal.
