About Reykjavík

Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland.

A series of recent eruptions have taken place close to Grindavík in Reykjanes peninsula, about one hour from Reykjavik.
The latest one started on May 29. This is NOT in Reykjavik and has not influenced flights or travel back/forth to the international airport located on the same peninsula.
