Number of rooms in different categories have been pre-booked for participants, since Reykjavík could be quite crowded during the conference period. We recommend that you submit your hotel booking as early as possible. Bookings are made via the conference registration form.

Full payment is required upon booking via on-line card payments. Accepted credit cards are VISA and Mastercard. On-line payments are guaranteed through 3D secured site.

Note for Visitors from the United States
Iceland uses cards with the chip-and-PIN system, which requires a 4-digit PIN for purchases. If you have a traditional “swipe and sign” card, you may wish to inquire about getting a chip-card from your bank or a major credit card issuer before travelling.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be done by writing. Cancellation is not confirmed until you get an e-mail confirming your cancellation.
Please email info@komum.is to cancel or change your accommodation booking, at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to avoid additional fees.
If you need to cancel your accommodation booking with 30 days of your arrival date any cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy.
Neither the organizing committee nor KOMUM conferences can be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from exchange rate fluctuations.

The Student hostel is within a short walking distance from downtown Reykjavik and it’s shopping street Laugavegur as well as the main landmarks in Reykjavík, i.e. Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa and Perlan (the Pearl).
Student hostel is on campus at the University of Iceland, with various service such as the University Bookstore, Bookstore Café, Háma (canteen) and the Student Cellar (bar).
